Introduction

I just graduated (2011) from the University of Oregon with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. I also received a minor in Planning, Public Policy and Management, but that isn't very relevant to this blog.

I'm currently working as a research intern under Dr. Kevin Fu in UMass, who specializes in the security of computational RFIDs and implantable medical devices. I have my very own (borrowed) cubicle in the Security and Privacy Research Lab, which is part of the Department of Computer Science in the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

The Distributed Research Experiences for Undergraduates (DREU) internship is through the Computer Research Association's Committee on the Status of Women in Computing Research (CRA-W) and the Coalition to Diversify Computing (CDC).
